Dan further expanded his education by enrolling in the Naturopathic/Naprapathic Medicine Professional Diploma Program at the American Institute of Naturopathic Medicine, a 5,054 clock-hour program taught by Dr. Gregory T. Lawton. Dan graduated in April 2013 with diplomas in Naturopathic and Naprapathic Medicine, and he was awarded the title of Diplomate in Naprapathy by the Academy of Scandinavian Mobilization Therapy.

In addition to his extensive qualifications, Dan holds three teaching certificates in Massage, Manual Therapy, and the Natural Healing Arts. For over ten years, he served as Head Instructor and Director of the Kalamazoo Campus at the Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences. Dan’s passion for teaching and hands-on therapy continues to shape his approach to both the classroom and the treatment room.

Since 2001, Dan has maintained a thriving private practice in Manual Therapy, where he developed his own protocols and techniques. His successes with these methods inspired him to establish IHSI Institute of Massage, where he looks forward to sharing his knowledge and expertise with the next generation of massage therapists.

Meet Pamela “Pam” L. Morris

Pamela L. Morris, L.M.T., M.M.T., Diplomate, C.A., M.H., embodies the perfect blend of passion, compassion, and expertise. She received her training in complementary medicine from the Blue Heron Academy of Healing Arts and Sciences and holds numerous certifications and diplomas, including:

Since 2001, Pam has maintained a successful private practice and has contributed significantly to the Blue Heron Academy. From 2002 to 2004, she served as Head Instructor and Marketing Director for both the Kalamazoo and Niles campuses. She taught Medical Massage classes and developed curriculum for the American Medical Massage Association’s Continuing Education Program, which she also taught. Pam holds two teaching certificates in manual therapy and complementary medicine.

As a co-owner of IHSI Institute of Massage alongside her husband, Dan Morris, Pam is committed to helping others achieve the same professional success and fulfillment that she has experienced in the field of Medical Massage Therapy.

Meet Brianna Robbins

Brianna Robbins, LMT, MFR is a board certified Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Michigan. Brianna is the Clinic Director for Integrative Health Sciences Institute in Plainwell, Michigan who sponsors IHSI massage students completing their Massage Clinic Class requirements. Brianna has training in MFR (Myofascial Release) by John F. Barnes, PT and enjoys a successful private practice as a Medical Massage Therapist specializing in Structural Integration. Brianna also works as the Executive Administrator for IHSI Institute of Massage and is an instructor with many years of experience to her credit.

Meet Rachel Mayhew

Rachel Mayhew LMT, CPT is a board certified Licensed Massage Therapist in the State of Michigan. Rachel is an instructor for IHSI Institute of Massage. Rachel is also certified as a Personal Trainer who specializes in Restorative Exercise and is certified in Nutritional Counseling especially with the athlete in mind. Rachel enjoys and maintains a successful private practice as a Medical Massage Therapist working out of two different clinics and on the road as a Mobile Massage Therapist for those who cannot travel.
